Out of band programming:
Programming these radios to go out of band is real easy. Open the startup.bin file in your hex editor. Search through the file (on the ASCII side) for 403. This should get you to the top of the bandsplit list. Change the bandsplits you want to whatever you want and save the file. That's it!
