This is the same type, 16 position HEXidecimal switch I use as a channel selector on the 16 and 32 channel RANGR and DELTA radio mods. Arrow-point slot enables channel selection using a small screw driver. Switch detent positions are labeled 0 through 9 and A through F, for a total of 16 positions. An alternate channel selection method is to use a DIP (dual-inline-pins/package) switch.
These 8 position SPST switches are used in my DELTA and RANGR radio mods for Packet Radio node use, and when radio is to be used at a remote location. The DIP switch is set (fixed) to any one of the 16 channels programmed into the RANGR or DELTA 2212 EEPROM.

NON-INDUCTIVE, 50 OHM, 50 WATT RESISTOR, makes a great 50 watt dummy load. Attach a short length of coax and add SO-239 coax (female) connector. For heavier loads, mount connector on a pin-hole ventilated paint bucket with three quarts of Mineral Oil, and sink this 5 inch long resistor in it to make it into a 200 watt dummy load.

RF can sometimes cause a ''reset'' of a node or TNC. These 1/4 inch ferrite beads are used in many applications to reduce RF feedback from transceivers into TNC audio circuits. Also used on the MIC HI lead to reduce RF feedback (squeal).

YES, They are back... after the ''sell-out'' of the installation kit, I went digg'n for some more. Here it is... YES, it is really real. What you see, is all in the installation kit. This kit was used to install trunk-mounted radios.
