I customize the EEPROM for your 6 meter frequencys and set for any Tx Tones (if required) for repeater access. A 16 position HEXidicimal selector is used to select any one of the 16 channels, programmed into the EEPROM. 1200 Baud, modified and tested 110 Watt, GE Delta SX with 20 Db Receive Preamp installed. This radio is built to commercial and military standards. I configure it with your list of 16, two meter (VHF) Packet frequencies programmed into the EEPROM. A detent switch is used for frequency selection so the radio can be set to a specific Packet frequency. The whole enchilada, and a BIG one at that. I've had several requests for a complete and affordable package for Packet.
Here it is; A 110 watt DELTA SX and a 1200 baud MFJ-1270C TNC interfaced and ready to plug-N-play. The DELTA SX is completely modified and programmed with 16 popular VHF packet frequencies. The receiver has a 20 Db Receive preamp installed, so you can "reach out and touch someone."
"Have it your way," as a Packet Station, or I will burn and install an X1J4 TheNet node EPROM in the TNC to make it into a full-blown node. All you need to do is apply 13 VDC @ 25 Amperes. The TNC power comes from the DELTA SX. It has a 2.1 mm DC connector that feeds power to the TNC. Everything is wired and tested. The TNC to DELTA deviation is set to 3.5 kHz. It is ready to plug-N-play.
The following list is the frequency set that I have built into the eePROM. If you wish, I can customise the EEprom for your 16 favorite two meter Packet frequencies.

I've just received another batch of 4 frequency, 60 watt, MITREK radios. This transceiver comes with modification drawings and diagrams to modify for 6 meter voice, or 1200 and 9600 baud Packet use. The same 1200 baud inputs shown in the drawings may be used as microphone input (voice) operation.
All radios are tested and in good working condition, and are supplied with one set (1 Transmit and 1 Receive), channel elements (see photo above). These radios are presently operating in the 48 and 49 MHz region. Some tuning is required for the 50 MHz (6 meter) band, modification.
The mods enable use of these radio without the need for cables and control heads. Accessories and control cables are NOT supplied.

YES, They are back... after the ''sell-out'' of the installation kit, I went digg'n for some more. Here it is... YES, it is really real. What you see, is all in the installation kit. This kit was used to install trunk-mounted radios. It conains an 18 ft length of RG-58/AU coax cable with PL-259's installed at each end, the ty-wraps, and wire with heavy-duty AGC fuse holder,...etc, all the parts shown in the photo.
