AMPLIFIED   SPEAKER
Special Purchase, Top Quality, Brand Name !

New, in original carton.

A great addition to the HAM shack as an audio signal tracer, or for hand-held transceivers.  Just add 12 volts DC, and plug it into the external speaker jack, and you have sound that is better than full sized transceiver speakers.  Use it with your "hand-held" in the mobile.  This amplified speaker delivers 8 watts of audio.

Hook-up is simple;  Connect the Orange wire (with 2 amp fuse, and holder supplied) to 12 volts DC.  Black lead to ground.  The other pair of wires go to low level (150 to 200 mV) audio or to the external speaker jack. Comes complete with a durable mounting bracket, hardware, red LED power-ON indicator and volume control.  Size is approximately 6"w X 4"h

600 ohm to 600 ohm, 1:1 turns ratio audio coupling transformer.

Used in most PSK31 transceiver to sound-card interfaces to isolate the sound card and HF transceiver from RF feedback.  Use two of these to isolate both the sound card LINE IN and LINE OUT from the transceiver accessory or data port. Primary is identified on transformer. Transformer measures approximately one half inch by one half inch. Leads are 1/2 inch long.

1000 (1k) ohm to 8 ohm, audio transformer.

Used in PSK31 transceiver to sound-card interfaces to isolate the sound card and HF transceiver from RF feedback. This 1K to 8 ohm transformer is used when external speaker audio is coupled to the sound card LINE IN. Primary (1000 ohm) and secondary (8 ohm) are identified on transformer. Transformer measures approximately one half inch by one half inch. Leads are 1/2 inch long.

$3.00 each or 2/$5.00
Order # XFMR1K8

The audio transformers shown at left, have center-taps on both the primary and secondary windings. The center-tap may be used, or left open (user option).

Used in PSK31 transceiver to sound-card interface, this shielded, twin cable has two, 3.5mm stereo connectors on one end. When using with PSK31, SSTV, RTTY, and Packet Sound card interfaces, only the "tip" of each connector is used; The "ring" is not used. NOTE that a large ferrite core is molded into the line near the sound card end of the cable. This is another means of preventing noise and RF feedback between the transceiver and the PC sound card. Twin cable is 48 inches (4 ft) long.
