Got more than one transceiver....? Now you can operate the sound card modes without buying more interfaces. You can move from the HF transceiver to your VHF/UHF transceiver simply by unpluging the HF cable/connector from the RASCALmkV and inserting the cable for the VHF/UHF transceiver. Do them all, PSK31, Packet, SSTV, EchoLink, APRS and more, on multiple transceivers using only one RASCALmkV.

Order as many additional transceiver cables as you like @ $14.95 each. If you later change radios, or add a second or third new radio to the ham shack there's no need to order another interface, simply order the appropriate cable for the new radio(s). Best of all, you can leave the RASCAL connected to the PC without having to plug and unplug sound card and serial cables. When you wish to use the second (or third) transceiver, simply change the cable and continue using the same RASCAL Mk V, PC, and software.

Easiest Setup of any sound card interface available.

Includes: the RASCAL to PC Cables, Connectors, Components, Case, Custom designed Printed Circuit board,
PSK31 software, pictorial diagrams, software disk, with setup instructions.

Additional RASCAL to transceiver cables available to adapt your RASCAL mark V to other radios.

Sound Card Line in and Line out, are isolated from the transceiver by special, audio coupling
transformers designed for this application.

The LINE IN and LINE OUT (or, Mic IN & Spkr OUT) cables are high quality, shielded cables with
a high permeability ferrite choke molded into the cable. This ferrite choke provides an added
degree of immunity to potential RF feedback.

Color coded connectors for PC Line IN/Line Out, and Comport.

Automatic PTT control is activated via the PC serial comport via software.

To further reduce CPU noise, the serial comport interface cable (also supplied) is a high quality,
shielded, 6 ft cable utilizing both foil and drain wire shielding.

A transmit level control is included for transmit audio to the transceiver.
