Got more than one transceiver? Now you can operate the sound card modes without buying additional interfaces.  Simply change from your HF transceiver to the VHF/UHF transceiver by unplugging the HF cable and inserting a different transceiver cable. By using transformer isolation for the transmit and Receive audio paths, we prevent ground loop coupling, and reduce the chance of RF feedback into the PC sound card (squeals, hum, etc).  To further reduce RF feedback and RF ingress into the Tx or Rx sound card audio, we install a large (molded) ferrite core over the RASCAL to sound card audio I/O cable(s).
