compare their soundcard interface to our RASCAL GLX.Up front, the RASCAL GLX does everything their interface does... AND more. In a recent article in CQ Magazine, one writer attempted to assassinate us by implying that our RASCAL was less than it truly is. I am surprised that CQ Magazine allowed the writer to employ such evil tactics without first verifying the claim the writer made.
As all our RASCAL users know, we do not try to destroy our competitors by making false claims about our product, vs their product! We simply allow the user to use the RASCAL and see for themselves that we have a quality and superior product, for one-third the cost of theirs.
BUXCOMM corporation owns the warehouses, properties, and facilities where we build and test our Antennas, BALUNs, and RASCALs. We have dealers the world over who sell our products, and they enjoy the quality vs cost of these products. We are located in central Virginia USA, and we do not have to pay extreme prices for rent, leases, and with only ten (10) employees who are paid well. Therefore, we do not have to charge extreme prices for our products. We try to keep our prices in line with the value of the items and devices we sell. Doing so, causes some strain on the competitors who must "make up the difference" by increasing their prices to compensate for their high rent, labor, and desire for excessive profits.
We also note that each time we introduce a new antenna, or product, that some of these competitors will soon follow with a "knock-off" of the same product, but at a higher price.
We have been in the Communications business since 1959, Since we opened this company (BUXCOMM Corp) in 1995, we have grown from a small company of less than 5000 dollars inventory. Today, BUXCOMM Corporation is a company with more than Six Million Dollars inventory. We did not get to this point by being unfair to the Amateur Radio Community or trying to charge extreme prices for our products. We surely didn't do so by slamming our worthy competitors. Most of our competitors make and sell good products, however, there are the few who make it part of their venue to exist by making untrue implications and statements that can only destroy the fiber of our hobby. These purveyors of misrepresentation and deception are the first to scream foul.
